He starts by mining for silver but quickly jumps on California's Oil boom in the early 19 century. Mr. Plainview uses his adopted son to persuade land owners to sale their land to his family owned oil field enterprise with hopes of making everyone involved rich! This amazing movie will keep your eyes glued to your TV.
